About us
Kaizen Judo Academy is a grappling martial arts school located in Redmond, Washington. We offers Judo classes in partnership with Medina Academy! Our programs run year round and are open to the public along with Medina Academy students.
Judo is a Japanese martial art and an olympic sport. As a grappling art, it has many cross over techniques with wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, but with an emphasis on throwing the opponent to the ground.
As a sport, Judo has a big emphasis on safety and a sizable portion of training focuses on proper falling techniques. This is a great skill to learn for kids, teens and adults.
